I assure you they don’t. I assure you the people earning the least money are working the most. I don’t see CEO’s doing 60 hour weeks just to keep food on the table. They don’t do that, because they don’t have to, because they get paid so much they aren’t desperate enough to have to.

I have a friend who makes $17 an hour at a desk job at a college. All they do is account for the cafeteria. They also get free food through their work, which is a great example of the more money you make the more free shit you get.
My job consists of constantly being on my feet for shifts up to ten hours, running back and forth from sales floor to register. Handling needy customers all day long. Unloading a truck. Stocking merchandise. Constantly rearranging sections of displays. And I make $1 dollar above minimum wage, only because that’s 4 years of raises.
So no, the more money you make doesn’t not mean you work harder.
